All of these employees started with Forrester Boyd on our highly coveted Trainee Accountancy programme and prove that the opportunities really are there if you work hard and strive to achieve them.
These promotions reinforce our internal development opportunities and the success of our trainee accountancy programme with all five starting their careers with the firm as trainees. In fact 14 out of the firm’s 17 partners have come through the trainee accountancy route. Speaking of the new manager appointments, Philip George, HR partner said, “I am so pleased to see more of our homegrown talent rising through the ranks. I personally started my career with Forrester Boyd on our trainee accountancy programme so it is proof that the opportunities available for career progression are second to none. We provide our staff with wide-ranging training and development opportunities allowing them to hone their skills and progress within the firm. We have a strong internal mentoring ethos. With over 40 trainees currently in the firm at different stages of their careers, help is always on hand along the way with the understanding and support from fellow staff and others at different levels. This has proven that it is helping to shape the futures of some of our region’s youth and provide opportunities on their doorstep. Who knows, maybe they could become our partners of the future.”
