Business and Administration Apprentice

Location: Beverley

Hours: Full time

Join our friendly team at our Beverley office as a business and administration apprentice.

This position requires a candidate who would like to learn the fundamentals of business administration in a professional environment. The role is Monday- Friday, 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. This is 37.5 hours per week. You will also work towards an NVQ in business and administration.

What does the job involve?

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Answering and directing telephone calls
  • Providing refreshments for clients as required
  • Inputting data onto the firm's client database
  • Administration duties including the production of documents, letters, invoices etc.
  • Maintaining the electronic diary and booking appointments as required
  • Recording and franking of all outgoing post
  • Scanning and filing of documents

Skills required

To be successful, you must possess the following skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisation
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • This post will provide an intermediate qualification in business and administration.

Qualifications needed

GCSE above grade 4 / C in Maths, English and IT

Salary: NMW (not apprenticeship NMW)
