What does the job involve?
A typical working day could include:
- Providing a bookkeeping service for a wide range of clients including sales, purchase and nominal ledger maintenance/processing
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT return preparation
- Advising clients on the use of accounting software
- Communicating with clients and managing their queries
- Preparing reports for clients
What do you need to bring to the table?
Ideally we would like you to have:
- Strong experience of managing ledgers and preparing reconciliations
- Confidence with accounting software
- Customer service experience and the ability to develop strong working relationships with clients
- The ability to work unaided to strict deadlines
AAT level 4 qualification would be preferred, if not qualified to level 4 AAT we would expect the right candidate to be qualified by experience.
